Keith - It's funny you mention that, because I was struck throughout the whole thing how little noise they make (or how much was edited out, or something). There are scenes of hundreds of people standing around and it's dead quiet.
Wouldn't they have recorded all the dialogue and background sound later though? I think they almost always do (did). They must not have bothered adding in any background noise.
